My Story

Exercise and Nutrition

I started off as a personal trainer and weight management advisor because I personally struggled with my weight since I can remember, and I was constantly told I was 'chubby' or over the BMI healthy zone of 25. Even now, I am told that I am on the borderline even though my fat percentage is low.


I then became a Pilates instructor because I wanted to help my clients have better posture, flexibility, and help them with back, knee and neck pain issues. And I then became a sports massage therapist, because some of my clients had injuries and I wanted to help with that as well.

Mindset

With experience, I also noticed that some clients (especially those struggling with weight issues their whole lives) subconsciously did not believe that they could lose weight, or the feelings associated with their weight affected their self-confidence which affected their actions (or non actions).

So I became a hypnotherapist and life coach to help my clients with their mindset as well. Most clients know how to exercise or know where to find exercise instruction or ideas to exercise, and they know what they should stop eating and some even how many calories they should eat to lose weight. But they don't do any of that because they do not have the right mindset, nor the right motivation to do so.

What I want to help people with

My mission now is to help people put mindset first in the weight loss equation of ‘mindset/nutrition/exercise’. Most, when they want to lose weight start off with dieting and maybe exercise. Temporary results can be attained with these two things and it can be the painful way to attain weight loss. Whereas, I would like to help people achieve real, lasting results and gain self-confidence and better health with it as well.


My superpower is being sympathic. Because I have been there, and I know what it’s like to be 'fat'/'chubby', 'feel fat' and hate the body that you’re in. I know that weight affects the way you think and the way you see yourself. I also know what it takes to lose weight and to keep it off for good. It’s not just dieting and exercise. It takes a mindset shift, changing habits and establishing new better ones, defining and being crystal clear on what is it that you want and why you want it, and building motivation and reasons to keep it off.

HEY, I’m Gaelle

I am a Life Coach and Hypnotherapist. I am also a Personal Trainer, Weight Management Advisor, Pilates instructor and Sports Massage Therapist.


I specialise in working with people who struggle to lose weight, who yoyo diet and binge eat. I help them achieve their ideal weight and keep it off for good by helping them change their habits, identify negative patterns or past/childhood trauma that might make them resistant to weight loss.


I help them gain motivation to change their lifestyle, learn how to meal plan, make better food choices, break their addiction to foods, as well as teaching them how to create an exercise routine that they enjoy.


My mission is to help people lose weight and keep it off by putting mindset first, then nutrition and exercise.
